When Bridget first had Star, the plan was for her to rehabilitate and ‘enjoy’ Star as a ridden horse, but it soon became apparent that this was not the best course of action, and so Bridget started to think about what ‘job’ Star ‘Needed’ .
Its true to say that being a horse is more than enough job for Star, she deserved the best of care and it didn't matter really if she never worked again. But something wouldn't stop buzzing in Bridget’s mind, that she could help people. Having experienced periods of depression and poor mental health herself she knew how horse therapy worked , and so the journey to help others began.

Bridget works daily at the centre managing the yard and running the majority of horsemanship sessions.
